We loved hanging out in the multiple areas at the hostel, especially the quiet one. The aircon and comfortable beanbags and cushions made it a cozy space to relax. Having books to read and games to play was a nice touch, and everything was clean and welcoming. The beds were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated having our own light, chargepoint, and large locker. The variety of fruit, toast, local dishes, and eggs for breakfast made for a delicious start to the day. the communal areas were great, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and the price was good. We felt secure with the entry card system for both the entrance door and our room. It's a new hostel, so the interior was nice and it had a great location.

Felt so comfortable, no complaints at all.

I loved my stay at this cozy hostel! The location was central and convenient, close to restaurants and the highway. The breakfast was amazing, offering a variety of local dishes that were different from the usual continental breakfast. The staff was helpful and the place was clean. I enjoyed the multiple hangout areas, especially the quiet one with comfortable beanbags and cushions. The beds were clean and comfortable, with their own light and chargepoint. it was a simple yet great place to stay.

    I do recommend this hotel.

We had a great time hanging out in the cozy common areas and playing board games with other travelers. The second-floor reading room was a wonderful spot to relax and chat. Plus, the fast WIFI and access to a computer for research was a big plus. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. I would recommend this place for its cozy atmosphere and good value.

The value for money at Kaung was great - I got a comfortable room with all the necessary facilities. The location of the hostel was excellent, making it easy for me to explore nearby attractions such as Zaycho market, Mandalay Palace, Eindawyar Pagoda, and the railway station. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite their limited English.

The breakfast experience could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

Clean rooms with comfortable bed, power ports and ample storage space. Real blanket covers, not just bed sheet. Terrace for drying clothes. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location close to restaurants and train station. Allowed early check-in and provided space to wait after check-out.

stayed here during my trip to Mandalay and was pleasantly surprised by Kaung's central location and cozy atmosphere. The breakfast offered a unique selection of local foods and the little balcony was perfect for relaxing with a drink. The staff went above and beyond to upgrade my room and make my stay comfortable.

Dim lighting in the top bunk.

Good location, comfy bed, worth the money. Another nearby hostel was expensive and had no hot water and was overcrowded. This one is much better! Nice common area with computers, games, TV. New and nice bathrooms. Cool quiet areas with air con and computers. Can use toaster and have free coffees all day. Delicious buffet breakfast. Comfortable room with air con. Really clean and comfortable.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel in Asia! the price was affordable and the facilities were top-notch. the dorms were clean and the beds comfortable. We especially loved the air conditioning and the locker under the bed. the hostel also had a balcony with a great view, perfect for relaxing. the bathroom for girls was spacious and equipped with new toilets and showers. the breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of food to choose from. We also enjoyed the chill-out area with books about Myanmar. the location was ideal, with many restaurants and the train station within walking distance.

    Nothing bad to say 😊.

The staff at this hostel were just amazing, so nice and helpful. My special request for a lower bed was not only granted but I was upgraded to a 4-bed dormitory for no extra charge, which was great because it was much quieter than the 8-bed ones I'm used to. I also rented a motorbike for a day at a super cheap price and they even helped me book a shared taxi to the airport. The beds were big and comfy, the rooms were spacious with plenty of storage, the bathroom facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast was delicious. The WiFi was the best I've experienced in Asia and the location was perfect. this was the best hostel I've stayed in with an unbeatable price. The dorms were clean and well-equipped, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was fantastic. I extended my stay because I loved it so much!

The decoration of the hotel was tasteful and welcoming, with beautiful artwork and comfortable seating areas. It created a warm and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were clean and well-maintained, providing a pleasant space to relax and socialize. As a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with ramps and handrails provided throughout the premises, making it easy for me to navigate and ensuring a safe stay.

It would have been even better if there were more staff members available to assist senior guests. Sometimes, it was challenging to find someone to help with small tasks or answer questions, especially during late hours.

Great value for money and convenient location. The beds were super comfortable and the hostel had a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, though their English skills were limited. Two standout features were the clean and comfortable accommodations and the included breakfast, which had a nice variety of food.

To the hostel. there were a lot of mosquitoes and it would have been helpful if they had provided something to help with that.
